There is a podcast through Podcast Pickle that focuses on New Teachers and information that can benefit them called New Teacher Hotline. As a new teacher there are many topics that I may have questions on. The host asks a question and teachers can call in and discuss the topic. The podcast I listened to was called, "Technology Is a Safe Bet." A teacher who has extensive technology experience called in and answered questions such as, "What would you do to get me up to date with technology, if I knew nothing?" "How can computers assist my classrooms?" Some questions we could answer very easily, but through the entire hotline there are various podcast topics to select from. New teachers have a tough job; it is time to put the 6 years or so of schooling into action. I could use this podcast in my teaching to further myself in topics and research out there that would benefit my students. The more knowledge and information I have the more I can apply to my classroom!
